Dyeing & Finishing
After the yarn has been knitted into a generic greige fabric, the dyeing and
finishing departments at Safer make the actual fabric a reality. Once
youšve chosen your fabric construction, our computerized dye labs will
color match to your exact specifications. The right color and texture,
with a wide range of equipment, Safer Textiles is uniquely able to
bridge the separate need of diverse markets, offering a quality control
approach to ensure satisfaction in the final product.
We
test for both wet and dry crock, shrinkage and colorfastness. A great
"Finished Product" becomes a great final product. We have 18 modern
computer controlled Jet Dyeing machines with capabilities ranging from 100
through 4,000 pounds.
Our 2 continuous Bleach ranges, have the
ability of producing Bright Whites on any fabrics. Our Tenter Frames have 6
finishing ranges, capable of producing widths up to 81", accommodating
both simple and complex finishing chemistries.
Fabrics can be further enhanced with a wide
selection of premium product enhancements including:
